What's in your Futon?

The word “futon” is the Japanese word for a fold up mattress that is laid on the floor and used as a bed. Futons are based on this idea but have been adapted to suit our western lifestyle. Our futons consist of three variable components: frame, mattress and removable cover.

Frames are available in a variety of styles and may be manufactured from metal, softwood, or hardwood and they have the versatility to be used as a couch or a chair, both with the ability to also lay flat and convert into a bed.

Removable covers are very versatile. They are zippered on three sides to facilitate ease of off and on and are available in a wide selection of colors and patterns to match a variety of decors with double size covers starting from $69.00.

The futon mattress is the most important component when it comes to comfort. We offer a wide selection of futon mattresses consisting of a combination of quality cotton and foam for your comfort. These layers are then placed in a permanent cover and strategically tufted to keep the layers of cotton and foam in place, insuring a longer lasting product.

If you have a futon that is not comfortable, come and check out our selection of futon mattresses and let us show you the differences. What's in your futon?
