Accent™ Radio Frequency Skin Tightening

Is it for me?

Radio Frequency is for you if you need skin tightening, fatty pocket reduction and cellulite improvement. Skin Tightening treatments for the Face are combined with Vitamin Infusions for more dramatic and longer lasting results. Body Skin Tightening treatments are commonly combined with Mesotherapy for Cellulite Treatments and Body Sculpting.

Where can we treat?

Skin can be tightened almost anywhere on the body. Fatty pockets such as under the chin, the tummy, saddlebags, hips, legs, upper arms and unwanted bulges around bra are very successful with treatment. Skin Tightening for Cellulite is most commonly treated on the thighs, abdomen, arms and buttocks.

How does it work?

The Accent™ uses radio frequency waves to create a field of heat in the deep layers of the skin and the fatty tissue (up to 4 cm deep). This type of treatment causes breakdown of fatty pockets/cellulite while causing both immediate and delayed collagen and elastin fibre improvements. The immediate improvements are a result of existing collagen and elastin fibre contraction. The delayed improvements are due to the induction of new collagen and elastin formation.

Accent™ Radio Frequency uses the same technology as Thermage™ but with lower cost and discomfort. An accumulative effect is obtained by doing a few treatments over a specific amount of time. The amount and duration of treatments are determined when a Trained Technician meets you for your complimentary consultation.

Having it done:

During the procedure a hand piece is used which strokes a smooth disc across the skin in the area of treatment. Gradually the area builds up heat and the client experiences a warm sensation. It is very tolerable and comfortable for clients. This process is considered a non-downtime procedure.

How many will I need?

Most individuals require a series of treatments to achieve optimal results. Usually Skin Tightening for the Face consists of two treatments and Skin Tightening on the body requires between 4-8 treatments. Every client is different so it is best to book a free consultation for a specialized treatment plan.

Before Treatment Face:

Hummingbird MediSpa protocol includes a Vitamin Infusion Facial in the week preceding before the Accent ™ Radio frequency treatment. This preparation ensures more dramatic results and a more visible, immediate and long term skin tightening result. We schedule these procedures with specific consideration for clients who have received Botox or Injectable Filler treatments. This will be discussed during your complimentary consulation with our trained Technicians.

Before Treatment Body:

Hummingbird MediSpa protocol includes a Vitamin Infusion to the treatment area in the week preceding the Accent ™ Radio frequency treatment. This preparation ensures more dramatic results and a more visible, immediate and long term skin tightening result. This will be discussed during your complimentary consulation with our trained Technicians.

After Treatment

The trained technicians will discuss a maintenance program to ensure long lasting results. The maintenance program will be a fraction of the time and money that was invested into the initial treatment.

Full List of Treatable Body Parts:

  • Neck • Chin • Arms • Upper body front and back (“Bra Fat”) • Back • Stomach • Hips (“Love Handles”/ “Muffin Top”) • Buttocks • Front of Thighs • Back of Thighs • Inner Thighs.

Heating and sheet metal

We all need it: hot water. Whether it's for dishes, showering, or laundry, the availability and reliability of your hot water supply are extremely important to a functioning household. No one wants to take a cold shower or pay high energy bills!

Consider the type of heater that fits

your needs and your budget:

Storage Tank

Storage tank water heaters are the most common type. These units have an insulated tank where water is heated and stored until it's needed.

  • Economical

  • Storage options include closet,

    basement or garage

  • 2.5-80 gallon capacity range

  • Efficiency variation between models,

    brands and fuel sources

Tankless

Tankless water heaters don't store hot water; they heat water as it passes through a series of coils in the unit. Since the unit only heats water as you use it, a tankless heater is usually more energy-efficient than a traditional storage tank water heater.

  • Larger up-front investment

  • Hangs on wall to free up floor space

  • Reduces energy consumption by as

    much as 30%

If you have any questions about what kind of hot water tank is right for you, please give us a call at 403-527-4941.

gardening

I have a couple of planters in my yard that are looking very pale green and not many flowers. What am I doing wrong?

Light, fertilizer and watering are 3 essential needs for any healthy plant.

Lighting: Different plants require different amounts of light. The foliage will become scorched if a plant is placed in full sun when it requires only morning sun. By placing plants that require full sun in a more shady spot you will experience less flowers with leggy foliage. If you are experiencing this just move your planter to the proper location.

Fertilizer: Fertilizing any potted plant is a must. There are a couple types of fertilizers. “Slow Release: is a granual that will release a small amount of fertilizer each time you water. This type can feed  your plant up to 2 or 3 months. “Water Soluble” is a powdered fertilizer you mix with water that will give the plant an instant feed. Fertilize weekly and choose a bloom booster for any flowering plant. This will promote long lasting blooms. “Organic Fertilizers” are another source of fertilizer that is available.

Watering: Over watering or not watering enough can cause another problem. Ensure your pot has drainage holes and water when needed. If you are experiencing that your planter requires to be watered twice a day, you can add “Soil Moist Crystal” to your soil. When these crystals are mixed in your soil and watered, it turns into a jelly form. It releases a steady supply of water as your plant needs it. It can reduce watering by up to fifty percent.

By following the three basic steps you will enjoy a beautiful, healthy planter for many months.

auto reconditioning

Is there a difference between the availing car wash services and auto detailing services?

Maintaining your car's showroom-ready condition can be a somewhat difficult task. You have to consistently set aside money, time, and effort to ensure that your vehicle looks good inside and out. More often than not, you will need to seek the help of a car detailing Expert® to help you keep your car ready for the road.

Most car owners don't realize that a car wash and a detail job mean two vastly different things, and this affects their attitude towards proper car care. Some car owners are skeptical to seek professional help because they think that detailing prices are much too expensive and unreasonable.

The truth is that washing and/or vacuuming your car at home won't cut it, if you want to maximize your car's life to the fullest. Your car needs more than just regular appointments with buckets of water and soap to ensure that it will stay in tiptop condition for the long run. Plus, your vehicle is a financial investment that you have to consistently maintain.

Detailing your car means checking and cleaning every nook and cranny to get rid of accumulated dirt, grease, dust, soil particles, and all the other bad stuff that can eventually eat away at the metal parts or simply mar the natural beauty of your vehicle.

The majority of people lack the time and/or inclination to engage in the meticulous and rather time-consuming task of real auto detailing. For these owners, getting professional car detailing services regularly is the best way to maintain their car's beauty and utility.

Auto care  Experts® at Schock & Awe Auto Spa recognize that vehicle surfaces are quite naturally made from many different materials and they all require their own specific type of treatment and understanding. That is why we have been professionally trained in all the latest techniques and specialized equipment to help keep your vehicle clean and protected from top to bottom. From windows to wheels to the air vents and carpeting, we can ensure that every square inch of your vehicle is thoroughly cleaned, vacuumed, shampooed, conditioned, and polished restoring your vehicle back to as close to “like new” as possible.

As you all know the extreme seasonal temperatures we get in Medicine Hat that range from the blistering +35 degree days of summer to the nasty -35 degree winters. This can be very hard on all surfaces of your vehicle, specifically the paint.

To insure the best protection for your vehicle we recommend booking your vehicle in with us at least twice a year. Once before winter so we can prep your vehicle with a high quality paint sealant or our Xpel Ultimate paint protection film. Doing so will help reduce the impact of damage that road salt and sand can cause and once again in the spring so we can clean and decontaminate those same surfaces and apply appropriate products to help fight against the harsh UV rays of the sun.

See what a professional car care Expert® at Schock & Awe Auto Spa can do for your vehicle! Book your appointment today. 403.527.1670 or check us out online at  www.schockandawe.ca

Medicine Hat Weight Loss Expert - William Audren

Ask-the-Weight-Loss-Expert-–-William-Audren

YOU LOST SOME WEIGHT, NOW WHAT?

Part 1

When you start a diet, you need to realize that, in order to succeed, there are TWO “contracts” involved. Losing the weight and keeping the weight off. Once you reach your goal, the hardest part begins. Keeping the weight off can be very challenging. First, we need to accept that our body will naturally try to gain weight. There is no “vaccine” against weight gain.

It is very easy to slip back to old eating habits. Skipping meals, which causes starvation, promotes poor health and affects our metabolism. When we are on a diet, we never skip meals. So why do some of us stop eating regular meals once we reach our goal?

One bad habit that comes back is not planning our meals. This leads to poor choices and encourages us to eat out. When we are on a diet, we rarely eat out and try our best to control what we eat; we plan ahead and manage our grocery list properly.

Another habit that causes havoc in weight control is having treats too frequently. A treat should be occasional, not a daily thing. It is very important to enjoy a treat once in a while just not every day.

To have success in keeping the weight off, have a plan, prioritize your new lifestyle and stay in touch with your weightloss coach. A GREAT COACH should understand your needs, and help you by giving you confidence, maintaining communication, and education.

How to protect children from insect bites and stings

The best way to protect infants and small children is by using netting over beds and strollers and dressing them in long-sleeved, tightly woven clothing.

DEET is the most effective insect repellent but it should not be used on children under 6 months. A repellent that has less than 10% DEET can be used once a day on children older than 6 months and up to 2 years. Older children can use a repellent containing less than 10% DEET up to 3 times in 1 day.

Icaridin effectively protects against mosquitoes, ticks and black flies for up to 8 hours depending on the strength of the product used. It is safe to use in children over 6 months of age.

Use products that contain soybean oil on small children. Studies have shown these products are very safe with duration of action of 3.5 hours. These products do not protect against ticks.

Do not use repellents containing citronella or lavender oil on children less than 2 years of age. There is not enough information to know whether they can harm small children. Duration of action is 30 minutes to 2 hours.

To use insect repellent safely on children:

Apply the product lightly and only to exposed skin. Do not apply to open wounds or irritated skin. Do not apply to a child's hands or face. Wash insect repellent off when protection is no longer needed.

Medicine Hat Granite and Quartz Expert - Arlen Jalbert

http://theexperts.ca/blog/2016/07/15/medicine-hat-granite-and-quartz-expert-arlen-jalbert-2/

Ask the Granite Expert – Arlen Jalbert

The natural stone you have purchased for your home or office is an investment that will give you many years of beautiful service. Simple care and maintenance will help preserved your stone's beauty for generations to come.

Care and Precautions

Use coasters under all glasses, particularly those containing alcohol or citrus juices. Many common foods and drinks contain acids that will etch or dull the surface of many stones. Do not place hot items directly on the stone surface. Use trivets or mats under hot dishes and place mats under china, ceramics, silver or other objects that can scratch the surface.

Cleaning Procedures and Recommendations

Dust mop interior floors frequently using a clean non-treated dry dust mop. Sand, dirt and grit do the most damage to natural stone surfaces due to their abrasiveness. Mats or area rugs inside and outside an entrance will help to minimize the sand, dirt and grit that will scratch the stone floor. Be sure that the underside of the mat or rug is a non-slip surface. Normally, it will take a person about eight steps on a floor surface to remove sand or dirt from the bottom of their shoes.

Do not use vacuum cleaners that are worn. The metal or plastic attachments or the wheels may scratch the surface.

Clean stone surfaces with a few drops of neutral cleaner, stone soap or a mild liquid dish washing detergent and warm water. Use a clean rag mop on floors and a soft cloth for other surfaces for best results. Too much cleaner or soap may leave a film and cause streaks. Do not use products that contain lemon, vinegar or other acids on marble or other calcareous stones. Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with the soap solution and dry with a soft cloth. Change the rinse water frequently. Do not use scouring powders or creams; these products contain abrasives that may scratch the stone.

In the bath or other wet areas, soap scum can be minimized by using a squeegee after each use. To remove soap scum use a non-acidic soap scum remover or a solution of ammonia and water (about 1/2 cup ammonia to a gallon of water). Frequent or over-use of an ammonia solution may eventually dull the surface of the stone.

Vanity tops may need to have a penetrating sealer applied. Check with your installer for recommendations. A good quality marble wax or non-yellowing automobile paste wax can be applied to minimize water spotting.

In food preparations areas, the stone may need to have a penetrating sealer applied. Check with us for recommendations. If a sealer is applied, be sure that it is non-toxic and safe for use on food preparation surfaces. In outdoor pool, patio or hot tub areas, flush with clear water and use mild bleach solution to remove algae or moss.

If you have any questions regarding the care of your natural stone, please give us a  call at 403-528-4821 and we will be happy to help!

Ask the Disability Services Expert – Brandon Thomas

By Professor Matt Sanders

It's tough being a parent but it's easy to fall into one of the common parenting traps.

The criticism trap is when there are frequent power struggles with your child. The situations escalate from criticizing to threatening and yelling. This type of discipline often backfires. The parent's anger makes the child and parent resentful and hostile. If these kinds of battles take place frequently, it's time to try a new way of handling the situation.

The “leave them alone” trap involves the parent simply not acknowledging their child when they are behaving well.

If good behaviour is taken for granted it may be replaced with the misbehaviour that receives more attention. A basic principle of positive parenting is to praise behaviours you would like to see more often.

The “for the sake of the children” trap occurs when parents in unhappy marriages stick doggedly to the same marriage routines, for the sake of the children, rather than addressing the problems constructively.

The perfect parent trap. There is no such thing as a perfect parent and trying to be one will only lead to disappointment, resentment, guilt, and feelings of inadequacy.

The martyr trap is one where parents become so over-involved in the task of parenting they neglect their own needs.

The parents' relationship suffers and may end in feelings of dissatisfaction and resentment.

Quality parenting can only happen when adults have their own lives in balance.

The Intimacy Lie

Q: I've been seeing a guy friend for 8 months now. He'd just gotten out of a longterm relationship and so he's clear he can't have any expectations or demands put on him in any way. Basically, he wants to come and go as he pleases. It's painful for me not to have any say about when I get to see him but I feel like if I am patient, eventually he will be mine. What should I do?

A: This works out well for your guy friend. He has the benefits of a girlfriend but doesn't have to rise to the expectations of a boyfriend, which would include respecting your needs. Beware of the word “friend.” It can often be used by people to excuse the most unfriendly behavior. When it comes to relationships, some things ought to be black and white, not gray and murky. If he wanted to be your boyfriend, it would have happened by now.

Are you in a relationship dilemma? Please give me a call or message me, and I'll be happy to help you out.

Windows 10 will cease to be a free update on July 29, 2016, exactly a year after its initial release to the general public. After the free upgrade period, Windows 10 Home will cost around $149.99 and the Pro version will set you back $249.99. If you're looking to upgrade your computer parts and want to be on Windows 10, you should upgrade and extract your new Windows 10 product key for future installs. This means you can upgrade your new computer and later have the option to install Windows 10 directly on the new machine.

With many new features, and various system improvements upgrading is a win-win for most people. However a lot of consumers are not happy with changing a operating system yet again after the less then steller Windows 8 launch. There are options available to permanently stay on windows 7 and windows 8, and allow you to run your office on these platforms for the next couple years. The catch, is be aware that after July 29th 2016 support for these operating systems will diminishe over time, more and more resources will be put towards their flag ship OS, and other software and hardware developers will want their products running on the latest platforms available. All in all, the upgrade is worth considering seeing as it will save you quite in a bit in the long run, and who does not want to save 150 bucks?

Medicine Hat Accounting Expert - Angie Ritchie

Ask The Accounting Expert- Angie Ritchie

Your Accountant is one of the most important members of your team, so choosing the right person is an extremely important decision.

Start by talking to people you know and trust - your lawyer, banker, realtor and other business owners that you deal with. Ask who they use and why.  Ask how their Accountant has assisted with their business, do they provide good advice? Are they reliable? Do they respond to questions in a timely manner?

Consider the range of services offered by the Accountant; many specialize in one or two areas and that may not be enough for your business. Does the Accountant offer bookkeeping services? Payroll Services? GST/ HST filing? Do you need assistance with budgeting and cash-flow planning? You don't want to have to engage the services of multiple people to meet the needs of your business.

Having more than one person to assist you to manage the financial requirements of your business provides you with little benefit and you will waste time (and money) trying to communicate your needs and information to several parties.

How to Warm Your Pool with a Solar Cover

By Rik DeGunther

The cheapest and most effective solar-heating system for your swimming pool is a solar cover. You can get one for around $0.65 a square foot, so covering an average size pool costs about $300. Using a plastic cover alone can extend your swim season a couple of months on each end of the summer.   And the water will be more comfortable over the entire season, which means you'll use the pool a lot more.

Despite the fact that the surface area of most swimming pools is large, very little of the sunlight that strikes the pool gets stored as heat. Pool water is transparent (hopefully), so it simply passes sunlight right through.

A cover absorbs the sunlight and then transfers that heat to the water. Some covers are black for this very reason, but the most widely used are made of inexpensive clear plastic that looks like the bubble wrap used for packing. These covers are made of a special material designed to store the sunlight as heat, and air bubbles work as insulation so that the heat becomes trapped in the pool water.

Covers can do the following:

  • Prevent heat from escaping your pool: Retaining heat is especially important at night, when the air is cooler than the swimming pool.

  • Directly convert solar radiation into usable heat: In an in-ground pool, a cover can increase the water temperature by 5 degrees F for each 12 hours of coverage.

  • Limit evaporation: Each gallon of evaporated 80 degree F water removes about 8,000 BTUs from the pool.

  • Reduce chemical depletion: This advantage reduces cost, and you can consider it a form of energy conservation.

You do have to place covers onto the water and then remove them, which can be a hassle. You may decide to increase the surface area of your solar collectors just so you don't have to deal with a cover. But just about everybody who's ever used a cover can tell you it works. And all kinds of systems are available for removing and replacing the cover - some manual, some automatic. In fact, you don't need to install any retraction system at all; you can just fold them and unfold them as needed.

  • Manual systems cost around $300. These roll up the cover, much like a window blind. But you still have to pull it back out over the pool, which may mean you have to get into the water first. In either case, cranking the handle isn't easy; people who don't have much upper body strength may have a hard time.

  • Automatic systems can cost more than $2,000, and the installation is a bear. But all you have to do is flip a switch and voila!

What's great is that you don't need to cover your entire pool to reap the benefits. Many pools are kidney shaped, but you can float a rectangular cover over only a portion of the pool, and it'll still help considerably.

Covers can be dangerous! If a person (particularly a child) falls onto a cover on a pool, he or she can get wrapped in the cover, which can be very difficult to get out of. Or if somebody swims under a cover and tries to surface for air, the swimmer won't find any. Be careful, and provide appropriate supervision.

Political Comment Must Never be

Violent

All elected officials are, to a great degree, fair game for criticism and ridicule when we fall short of the public's expectations. Those who pay us have a right to comment. Like all rights however, limits do and should exist.

I have seen increasing examples of language that suggest either that violence towards elected officials is okay, or in some cases make outright threats of violent action. This is wrong. Every political party has supporters who have crossed this line. There is never a reason good enough to justify violent comments or actions. At best, it is in extremely poor taste. At worst, it can lead to the normalization of violence. We are responsible for what we say and write, and we need to remember that when we go on social media, we are broadcasting. Even if we are “just blowing off steam”, it never justifies violent communications. There are people among us who may be less sophisticated, or in a mental state where the encouragement of violence – real or perceived – can lead to acts of violence.

Women in particular are victims of violent and taunting communication. Men are seldom judged by our hair, clothes, size or tone of voice. Somehow, women in public life endure comment in these areas on a regular basis. This is not right and it is the thin edge of the wedge, leading to disrespect and eventually, can culminate in violent words and actions.

Let's all commit to actively and enthusiastically debate policy, and to comment on the behaviour of our elected officials using non-violent, non-abusive words. Let's not tolerate violent words or actions from others. If we have not committed to this already, today is a great day to do so! We will all benefit.

Please let us know what is important to you so we can show that we are listening. We are listening.

Ask the Chiropractic Care Expert-Liz Mock

Healing always occurs on the cellular level. But when a person has painful joints, rigid muscles, aching limbs and sore painful areas for a long period of time, it's as if the body became “stuck” in it's healing ability.

When a person is injured, the normal healing mechanism is a wonderful cascade of functions that happen one right after another in a beautiful ballet. Inflammation is one of the first functions. This is very familiar to us from childhood when a bump or a scrape immediately turned red. A red mark is one of the first signs of healing, it means that inflammation has started and in this case is benign and helpful. Inflammation means that the body is flooding the area with healthy increased blood flow to bring in oxygen, nutrition, germ fighting blood cells and blood clotting factors.  Inflammation means that the body is working fast!  Each function happens in a prescribed fashion, each one causing the next one to begin.

Ideally, inflammation is supposed to do it's job and then leave. But, as adults, we often interfere with healing. For example, daily computer key-work causes painful wrists. We can't afford to quit work, nor to rest. So we keep using those wrists. So in this scenario the area is constantly being irritated, meaning that inflammation, the first line of healing, is constantly being called upon.

There comes a point where we have overridden our body's natural healing cascade too many times. When this happens, inflammation becomes a permanent guest. Our tissues are not meant to be inflamed constantly, and so instead of causing healing, inflammation starts to cause damage. Inflammation becomes a bad thing, instead of a natural thing.

Low Level Laser is able to move the cells past this inflammatory stage and back into the healing cascade.

We want you to try this amazing therapy. Until August 26, 2016, we are offering you a coupon for one free Low Level Laser treatment. Have one on us!  Tell your friends! 403 527 3783. You have nothing to lose but your pain.

Even though the summer brings high temperatures, don't let it bring high electric bills with it as well. Did you know that you could find huge savings on your electric bill in your attic? With functioning attic ventilators, savings can be yours. Let us help you understand what method will be of greatest benefit to you.

What exactly does an attic ventilator do?

An attic ventilator fan is essential in the summer because it evacuates the hot air that accumulates during the day from the attic and draws air in from the outside. Think of it as a means of cycling the trapped air out with fresh air from the outside. It ensures that the temperature of the air in the attic is closer to the air temperature outside. With stagnant air, the sunlight on the roof heats the air inside the attic greatly. It is best to evacuate that hot air in the summertime so that you can save money on your cooling. If you're air conditioning unit (A/C) is running and you don't have a functioning attic ventilator, your attic is acting like a radiant heater while you're A/C is trying to cool the room at the same time. Essentially, they are working against each other and costing you more money.

What are the different types of attic ventilators?

There are two types. One of them is a roof-top unit that draws air directly out through the roof and pushes outside air into the attic to regulate the temperature. The other type is a 120-watt gable fan system. This system consists of one fan that blows air into the attic and another fan that blows air outside, creating airflow that is constant to reduce the temperature in the attic. The gables are triangular in shape and are located on opposite ends from each other on the sides of the attic.

With both types of ventilation systems, there is a solar option. The system that we recommend most often is the roof-top solar fan. Hot air rises and the fan tends to pull the air up and out of the attic, while both gable openings are open for the fresh air to come in. This is the most efficient and best money saver because when the sun comes up, the solar cells power the fan and the fan speeds up the more the sun becomes more direct. Then, when the sun goes down, it naturally turns itself off because there's no more direct sunlight on the attic.

Do you have any additional tips or recommendations?

Regardless of whether you choose roof-top vents, gable fans, or solar powered fans, any home in the summer would benefit from attic ventilation. In other words, if you have an attic, there is a benefit to having ventilation.

Frequently Asked Questions

At what temperature should I set my thermostat?

Normal cooling settings are 75 degrees - 80 degrees. Normal heating settings are 68 degrees - 72 degrees. You should always set your thermostat to the highest possible setting that is comfortable for you in the summer, and the lowest comfortable setting in the winter. Setting your thermostat in this way will maximize your energy savings. On average, every 1 degree of temperature change is equal to about 1% energy savings. For example, changing your thermostat setting from 75 degrees to 76 degrees in the summer could result in savings on your cooling costs.

My system doesn't work well in a couple of rooms, what should I do?

This can occur for many reasons; uneven solar heat load through windows, an undersized system, improperly balanced or clogged system or a single system serving a two-story home with no zoning control. Each situation is different, usually requiring an onsite analysis with problem specific recommendations.  Please call to arrange for us to see your home.

Is Freon as a refrigerant being discontinued?

Yes. As of January 2010 the refrigerant R-22 (what consumers call Freon®) is no longer allowed to be used in the manufacturing of new equipment. R-22 has been used as the “standard” refrigerant for many years but has been found to be harmful to our planet by our government.  All new air conditioners and heat pumps use R-410A, the more “environmentally sound” refrigerant.

R-22 is still the most commonly used refrigerant in existing air conditioning equipment in residential homes today. However, per the Montreal Protocol, caps have been established to eliminate the production of R-22. In 2004, there was a 35% reduction; in 2010 there was a 65% reduction; in 2015 a 90% reduction; and finally in 2020 a 99.5% reduction in the production of R-22. This means that during the time of these reductions with high demand, the price of each pound of R-22 refrigerant could potentially skyrocket.

If you are considering replacing your existing air conditioning equipment, most higher efficiency products have already made the switch to R-410A, the more “environmentally sound” refrigerant.

We have a new addition arriving this summer at PrimaDeanna.  Due to customer demand we will be offering Maternity Bras starting in July!

These are not your typical white or beige yucky old bras that look like they were designed and made in an armoury.  Oh no way!  We have found you pretty, coloured designer nursing bras from the super model, Heidi Klum!

These Bras are cotton lined, designed for comfort with six hook adjustments in the back, and drop down cups for baby's lunchtime!  But they are so pretty and are available with matching panties so you don't have to sacrifice being a woman while you are a mom!

The best time to come in for a fitting is about a month before your due date.  We will fit you in a size that is a little bigger in both the cup and band size, because you will generally increase in size in that last month and in the first week after birth.  It's good to have 2 bras at this time.

Once you have settled into breastfeeding, after about 2- 3 months, it's normal to find that these bras need replacing already.  They've been worn day and night, saturated in milk and sweat and washed frequently by machine.  Come in for another fitting and it might be time for a different size at that time as well.

Besides, it's time to show us the new baby!  Congrats!

If you have any questions regarding the fit of your bra, please give us a call at 306-531-6750. We would be happy to help!
